Airsupply knows that you care how information about you is used and shared and we appreciate your trust in us to do that carefully and sensibly. This notice describes the privacy policy of Airsupply. By using Airsupply, you are accepting and consenting to the practices described in this Privacy Notice.

What Personal Information will Airsupply keep about you?

Information you give us about yourself allows us to match your qualifications, location and personal preferences to available jobs.

Here are the types of information we keep about you:

Information you give us:Any information which you enter into Airsupply, tell us about or upload. This includes your contact details, work history and key stages that you are qualified to tFeach. It also includes Safer Recruitment documents that you upload plus information that you give us such information about your health and permission to work in the UK.

Information we gather about you: The status of identity and qualification checks, DBS checks and other checks required to allow you to work as a supply teacher. We may also store schools' notes about you.

Automatic Information:we receive and store certain types of information when you use Airsupply. Like many websites, we use cookies to store information about your use of the site and for personalisation. We also collect information about your browser. We only use this information for statistical purposes and to ensure that Airsupply works correctly on all browsers.

How do we keep your data up to date?

We ask you to ensure that the information in your profile is always up to date. From time to time we will check that your DBS status and other checks required to allow you to teach as a supply teacher have not changed. If you have not logged on to Airsupply for more than a year we will delete your account and all associated data.

Does Airsupply share the information that we collect?

When you express interest in a job posted on Airsupply, we share some of your personal information with the school which posted the job. This includes your contact details and information which you have entered into your Airsupply profile. We also share your CV and references. This will help the school to decide whether you are the best applicant for the post. Once you have accepted a job offer we also share any Safer Recruitment documents that you have uploaded.

To ensure that information passed between teachers and schools is accurate and up to date, we are required to check the validity of information you have entered and/or uploaded to Airsupply ("Teacher Checks"). For details of the checks we perform, see Terms and Conditions. Some personal information will be passed to third parties in order to carry out these checks. Only the information which is essential to carry out the check will be supplied.

We may also share your personal information with law enforcement agencies or government offices if they make a formal request.

We share your information with third parties only as necessary to provide our service, including analysing data so that we can further improve our service. Third parties who have access to your data do so only under contract to us and only for the purposes we request, and are not allowed to use your data for their own purposes.

Can I access the information Airsupply holds about me?

Most of the information that we hold about you, you have entered or uploaded yourself. if you want to check or amend any details, you can log on to your profile and edit the information or upload new documents. If you would like to see the other information we hold about you, you can make an information request by contacting us using the details at the bottom of the page.

Please let us know what information you require. We may also ask for proof of your identity before replying with the requested information. We always aim to reply within 7 days.

Can I challenge the data you hold about me?

We always aim to keep all personal information we hold accurate and up to date. We ask you to ensure that the information you can edit and/or upload through your profile is always correct and up to date. If you believe that any of the other information we hold about you is incorrect please get in touch to let us know. Our contact details are at the bottom of this page.

How do we protect your data?

The security of your data is of great importance to Airsupply and we have put in place physical, electronic and managerial procedures to safeguard and secure your data.

All the personal data we store is kept in encrypted form on computers in a highly secure data centre located in the EU, to which Airsupply staff have no physical access. The data centre is operated by one of the industry’s leading providers and complies with all current national and international security standards.

From time to time, Airsupply staff will need to access your personal data in order to do their jobs. This access is restricted to only those members of staff who have a legitimate need to do so, and their usage is monitored in order to ensure they do so responsibly.

Airsupply is accessed using a user name and password. It is your responsibility to keep these safe and not to share them with anyone.

We do our best to protect your personal data. However, transmission of information over the internet is not entirely secure and is done at your own risk.
