The Airsupply Safer Recruitment Gold Standard Guarantee

We comply with all the recommendations of REC (Recruitment and Employment Confederation) for the most stringent, safer recruitment practices. As well as meeting every teacher in person, the following checks are completed before a teacher can express interest in roles:

  • Enhanced DBS and DBS Barred List Check (including overseas police checks if more than 3 months outside UK in last ten years)
  • Right to Work
  • All ID documents are verified in person with the candidate
  • Qualifications (where applicable)
  • Two recent references which we check directly - one will be the most recent employment
  • Employment history, with gaps explored
  • Disqualification from teaching (we check this along with teacher qualifications)
  • We verify the teacher's address
  • We ensure that the teacher is fit and ready to teach
  • We personally interview all our teachers
